I took Savannah in for a 7 month check up this past week! She is 27 inches long and 17.25 lbs. Everything is in working order :-)
Savvy is rocking back and forth on her hands and knees. She can scoot backwards and faceplant forward. She is babbling up a storm! Even said Dada last week several times. I do believe that is her first official word and as much as I deny it, I'm pretty sure she connects the word to Matt. Needless to say, he is very excited about it. Savvy can grasp objects, switch hands, brings things to her mouth, reach for toys, flip the pages of a book, pull her feet to her mouth and sleep through the night.
To experience her smile is life altering.
She loves to eat! We started her on solids a little after 6 months. She didn't like cereal, even mixed with breast milk. But she loves combos. Sweet potatoes and carrots. Carrots and apple sauce. Pumpkin and spinach. Squash and carrots. Avocado and pears. Auntie Ellie sent us the baby bullet and we have put it to great use! It is much easier to clean than the blender. :-)
Savvy = happy baby
