First Foods

Watching a baby take their first bite is pretty cool. Savvy worked the oatmeal a little before spiting it out. Then looking at me expectantly. Her next bite she got control of her lips, but not her tongue. She was also perplexed by the spoon. Eventually it all came together for her and she was lunging for the spoon, mouth wide open! Saturday night was a fun night! Sav is 5 months and 2 weeks old. She weighs 15lbs and is super chatty. She's working on sitting up. And she loves touching things with her hands. Anything and everything! While she puts things in her mouth more than Cass did, I think she's more of a tactile learner. And she positively lights up when Cass entertains her! These sisters are in love with each other! Now we're getting ready for Savannah's baptism in a few weeks :-)

Now I've no problem with a bit of tom foolery as long as I don't have to clean up after it or be affected by other's choices. Drink and be merry! Just don't go out of your way to come up to me and try to
