Savvy's first two birthdays were spent as family days at Apple Hill in Placerville, CA. Silly me to think she would not understand the concept of a party for another year! Not an hour after Cass's party in May Savvy was asking when her party was. So we knew this year would be her first. I love birthday parties! The friends and family joining in to celebrate a new year and wish the birthday gal happiness. The cake! The merry decorations and excitement as invites get sent out and we plan what to do. I really do enjoy the whole process. Especially when the budget is on point (inexpensive) and the stress is kept to a minimal! Quick sidebar: Watching one child celebrate a birthday makes me think how the other one is growing up too. Cassidy gets an allowance. She saved up her allowance to buy her sister a present.
