Dancing

Cassidy loves to dance. So far, any type of music gets her going! In this video we were cleaning the kitchen when she decided to break out. When she saw the camera she started saying cheese because she thought it was a real camera. I hope you can see it!

Apple Hill

Apple Hill is a community of over 90 orchards, vinyards and farms open year round. You can pick your own fruit, do games and crafts, and a lot more. It's about 3 hours away from Reno in the Camino Hills of California. We went on a lovely Saturday with our good friends the Richmers. It was a blast and very long day! As beautiful as the drive is, it's still a drive :-)

Birthday Party

In November Cass was invited to the birthday party of Lilly and Miriam, daughters of two women I work with. She had grand time!

Halloween and Potty

Cassidy is a diva. She had two Halloween costumes. A dragon, handmade by Nan and passed down from cousin Gracie, is what she wore to church for costume day. Sermon that day focused on Dia de Los Muertas, a traditionally Catholic holdaiy with Latin roots that honors and celebrates the dead by dressing up and delivering treats to loved ones' burial sites. I don't know how that evolved into the commercialized American version we call Halloween...admittedly I was laughing at the other kids in their costumes and missed a few points in the sermon! :-) Outfit number 2 came in the form of a $2 hat from Target and a dress she already has. And most of you know Cassidy is going potty! She'll grab her bottom and cry repeatedly "Mama Potty!" and we dash to th ebathroom where she has eithe ralready gone or makes use of the potty. Then we do the Potty Dance to celebrate. I cannot wait till her first date...Picture sharing will be a must!

Get ready...

I know. We haven't updated this site since September. We've been bad at only updating Facebook. Ok, we're getting back on track. So get ready to be inundated with updates :) There is too much to share without overwhelming, so I'll share one thing about each of us and then let the pictures do the rest :) I have over 500 pics to share and will be uploading them in small groups daily over the next two weeks. The pics in this group are from tree cutting with Vanessa, Matt and Billie, Cassidy disliking snow and prefering to star at from her room, a failed attempt to take a pic with Santa so we took one by the tree, the 5K we ran with the jogging stroller, and the Homecoming Game and celebrating Alicia on the field. Matt: Had an incredible interview at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and will hear back in the next couple of weeks if he got the job! Cassidy: At 17 months she walked into the living room, pulled down her pants and said "Mama I go potty!&
