Team Smith

 Sometimes our best plans fall apart, opening us up to different adventures. My momma was scheduled to come visit for a week. Matt was working out of town for a few days, then we were going to take a grown ups only roadtrip for his birthday to Baltimore and meet up with friends. That plan went topsy turvy! I won't get in to it, just know, my parents, as of this week, are both feeling better. One thing we know how to do is pivot! I was able to work from home while Matt was away, and then we had 24 hours away with the kids. Drove to Tarrytown where one more setback turned into a setup for a better situation Y'all. The hotel had no water. They tried to claim it was a city problem. It was not. We ordered in food, we waited a few hours, we left 😂 The hotel we did stay at was closer to the breakfast spot where we met up with my friend Amanda!
