                                                    For my 41st bday, I had the honor of celebrating with some folx who have become dear friends here. Matt asked me what I wanted to do. I said I wanted to eat and rollerskate. He said, "Done." In Albany, NY, about an hour away, there is a delicious dim sum place that also has a big bakery. Our friends made the trip to dim sum and there was so much joy in that little back room. I cannot believe we all fit! The food kept coming, steaming, fresh, flavorful. The cake was one of the most beautiful I have ever had. And of course we sung Happy Birthday Our Way- the only way- a la Stevie Wonder! After that perfect meal, we hit up Guptil's Roller, known as a guniess world record holder for being one of the largest indoor rinks. The music and the moves were equally great.  Finally, we went grocery shopping! Lol. Yes, this is adulting at it's finest! I may have gone a littlwe wild in the Trader Joes, they just have so many great

 Holiday 2022 was a snowy whirlwind of awesome family time. The town of Williamstown hosts quite a few events and festivals. We had a mini roadtrip to Montreal- only 4 hours! Lovely city with so much to see and do. The girls joined me at work for a few hours a couple of times, it was very quite on campus. The Santa gift this year was a ping pong table and many hours were spent in the basement honing some great skills! Finally, we used our new Kwanzaa calendar from Etsy and it became a fast favorite.
