Had an incredible time at Kitty's house today! Weather was perfect for splashing in the water. Cassidy was hesitant when her feet first graced the water, but soon she warmed up; her squeals contagious and abundant. Cousins Conor and Grace made it that much more fun! Hopefully Matt tanned a little :)

Cassidy loves to pretend she is drinking from cups. When she does drink from a cup at home, it's usually half full of water and a quarter of that falls on the floor! (For you math people out there, how much water did she actually drink?) These photos were at daycare this week. :)

So it has happened. Matt got a bike over the weekend. Stay positive y'all! This photo will be the first and last time you see Ms. Cassidy on a bike till she graduated from college or moves out of the house- whichever comes first! XOXO

Have you been one of the lucky few to be speed dialed by Cassidy? If you were, you probably had a good long conversation since she loves to talk on the phone! She'll cock her head to the side and make hand gestures with her left hand while balanciung the phone with her right hand.

Growing up I can't tell you how many times I would wake up early on a Saturday morning, grab my favorite sugary cereal (Coco Puffs) and plop down in the living room for some cartoons! It's a time honored tradition every since the world was introduced to Corn Flakes :) Cassidy will carry the tradition forward...Enjoy some pics from this past Tuesday when she had her first real bowl of cereal with a spoon and everything at daycare. Yes, I was late that morning to work by about 10 minutes, but these photos were so worth it!

A post has been a long time coming! I so apologize for the delay. The following pictures are from 4 different events :) 1. Easter. My mom sent Cass a beautiful dress and she was as adorable as can be! Cass doesn't seem to mind bows; I happily afix them to her curls every chance I get. We went to a bbq over our friends' Jerome & Brett's home. Cass gathered a few eggs there. 2. Pow Wow. Cass and I joined our friend's Juana and Celeste for the UNR Pow Wow. Cassidy thoroughly enjoyed fry bread tacos and clapped on beat when the drums began. 3. Oregon. On our way home from a road trip to Seattle for Great Grandpa's 90th birthday (pics of that will come next week) we stayed in Eugene, OR with our friend Jessi. Jessi was an incredible host and we experienced Papa's, a great soul food restaurant. 4. Tahoe. Cass' first trip to Lake Tahoe was delightful!
