Cassidy has had several field trips already in her kindergarten class. The only one I was able to attend was the last one before winter break. And it was the perfect one to attend! We met at the school and climbed aboard the yellow school bus. After a brief safety talk from our driver we were off to Renown! It's one of three hospitals in our area. The kids sang in random spots throughout the hospital to anyone who would stop and listen. It was pretty cute.
After singing we hit up the child garden and play area. The kids got all of their energy out and enjoyed a teddy bear clinic. They brought their favorite stuffed animals in for a check up. All the animals got "flu shots". It wasn't scary at all. Then we headed back to school where lunch happened to be in progress.It was a fun way to spend the morning and I am very thankful I work in a place where my supervisor supports me in taking time off to be part of these moments!
