Hey family! I took a break from updating our lil blog for a bit and encouraged other Team Smith people to consider contributing. No pressure 😂 Needless to say, people suddenly had a newfound appreciation for the time and energy it takes to stay current here! I started writing this post back in April and only just now got back to finish it up! Cassidy is a senior. Cute happy, bittersweet tears...There are a number of senior traditions at MHS, so buckle up for a year full of moments to pause and reflect on the young adult she is becoming, and celebrations for her bright future! Today was the ring ceremony. It was adorable. There are ribbons and a ring and snacks and lots of happy tears as MHS employees and alum take part in celebrating their senior kid. Savannah has had a great year so far as a freshman at MHS. Definitely helps that her big sister is there with her to help guide her.
